event production

The term, perception is everything, is not wholly lost on event production. The way an event looks and feels can be just as, if not more important, than the entertainment. With little exception, no experienced event producer is going to lead you to buy a bad entertainer, so what you do with the one or ones you end up with is what will set you event apart from others you may have attended. On this page you will see pictured an outdoor show at a horse racing track that we did for CBS Radio. What is important about this photo is the attention given to the sponsor logo scrims that hide the speakers left and right of the stage. I will guarantee you, more attention was paid to how those scrims were placed and perceived than anything else to do with the entertainment portion of this event. The achieved goal here was to make the sponsor logos seem as big as the audience perceives the artists to be. From how the logos are printed on the scrim to the uplighting used to make them seem more prominent than the stage floor, the perception of the sponsor product is what is most important.

The same applies to any venue you might use from hotel ballrooms, to destination style resorts, to city convention centers to tents placed anywhere you might imagine. We've staged shows everywhere from floating barges to football stadiums. The underlying theme remains the same. Entertain the audience, get the events message across, and hold down costs wherever possible while at the same time keeping a watchful eye on the integrity of the theme or message.
